Punjab Cabinet Reshuffle: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is in power in Delhi and Punjab. After changing the face of the Chief Minister in Delhi, now a big reshuffle is being seen in Punjab. Four ministers of Punjab have resigned. On Sunday evening, Punjab's Water Supply, Sanitation, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Brahma Shankar Jimpa, Information, Public Relations, Mining and Land Advertising Minister Chetan Singh Joda Majra, Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann and Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh resigned from their posts.
The Punjab government accepted the resignation of all the ministers and sent it to the Governor with immediate effect. After this, the Punjab government also announced the cabinet expansion on Monday evening. Under this, new faces Barinder Kumar Goyal, Taranpreet Singh Saund, Mahinder Bhagat, and Hardeep Singh Mundia have been invited to join the cabinet.

- Barinder Goyal, MLA from Lehragaga, who defeated former Punjab Chief Minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal
- Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA from Sahnewal
- Khanna MLA Taranpreet Singh Sond
- Mahindra Bhagat became MLA from Jalandhar West seat
Fourth cabinet expansion in Mann government
Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria will administer the oath of office and secrecy to these four new ministers this evening. This will be the first program after Gulab Chand Kataria became the Governor of Punjab, in which he will administer the oath to the new ministers. Let us tell you that this is the fourth cabinet expansion in the 30-month-old Bhagwant Mann government. Till now, there were 15 ministers in the cabinet including CM Bhagwant Mann in the Punjab Assembly with 117 MLAs. There can be a total of 18 ministers in the Council of Ministers. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was in Delhi for the last several days. After getting the green signal from party convener Arvind Kejriwal after the changes in Delhi, the cabinet expansion has been decided on Monday.
