Lucknow. Counting of votes for the 9 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh is underway. BJP is leading on 6 seats while Samajwadi Party is leading on 3 seats. The biggest upset in Uttar Pradesh is being seen in the Muslim-dominated Kundarki seat of Moradabad. BJP has made inroads into the stronghold of SP MP Ziaur Rahman Barq.
made a big lead
BJP candidate Ranveer Singh has got 8 times more votes than SP candidate Haji Rizwan. If BJP wins from here, then it will make a comeback after 31 years. 6 rounds of counting have been done in Kundarki. SP's Haji Rizwan has got only 4827 votes. BJP candidate Ranveer Singh has got 30988 votes. Here in Phulpur, BJP's Deepak Patel has taken a lead of two thousand.
SP candidate is also losing his booth.
Thakur Ranveer Singh, the BJP candidate from Kundarki, has claimed that he will win by more than 50 thousand votes. He says that there are a total of 36 booths in the district, out of which I will not lose even on 6 booths. There are 2 booths in the village of Haji Rizwan of the Samajwadi Party, out of which I am winning on one booth.
Dishonesty has occurred
SP candidate Haji Rizwan said that the elections have been rigged. There is no preparation left now. The entire crowd was looted by the BJP people. The BJP did not allow voting, so what should we be prepared for? Minorities are not safe in the BJP government. Elections should be held again. We do not trust the UP police.
