Imagine moving to a bustling city with just Rs 1,200 in your pocket, dreaming of making it big. That's exactly what Gagan Anand did when he left his hometown and landed in Delhi, driven by ambition and a love for ice cream.

In 2005, at the age of 21, Gagan started working as a waiter at Pizza Hut in Gurgaon, earning a modest Rs 1,500 per month. Despite the humble beginnings, Gagan's dedication saw him climb the ranks. While juggling his job, he pursued further education, earning a Bachelor of Arts.

Gagan kept his waiter's job a secret until he was promoted to a managerial position in 2007. His career took off from there, and by November 2008, he was a restaurant general manager. He even took his skills to international grounds, working at a Pizza Hut located at the US Army base in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and later as an Area Manager for Gloria Jean's Coffees in Dubai.

Returning to India in 2012, Gagan continued to rise in the corporate world, ultimately becoming the Brand Head (PAN India) at Rasna, with an impressive annual salary of Rs 26 lakh. Despite his success, he yearned for something more personal and impactful.

Gagan's passion for ice cream, a childhood love he couldn't resist despite his tonsillitis, inspired him to venture into the frozen dessert business. Recalling how he used to sneak money from his mother's pocket to buy multiple ice creams a day, he channeled this passion into creating Scuzo Ice 'O' Magic in 2020.
With a small team of five, Scuzo began offering innovative popsicles at competitive prices. Scuzo's unique approach and commitment to quality paid off, and today they offer 110 varieties of products across 14 stores in Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Operating primarily through franchise models, Scuzo also partnered with Faasos to sell their products via cloud kitchens.

Gagan's journey from a waiter with a dream to a successful entrepreneur proves that with passion and perseverance, you can turn even the sweetest dreams into reality.
