The voting date for the Maharashtra Assembly elections is coming closer. Monday 4th November is the last date for withdrawing candidature from the elections. On the last day, Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil has withdrawn from the Maharashtra Assembly elections. After a meeting with Maratha leaders till late last night, he has announced not to contest the elections. Let us tell you that earlier Jarange had said that his candidates would contest on 25 seats in the assembly elections.

What did Manoj Jarange say?

Manoj Jarange Patil has announced that he will withdraw all the nominations filed for the assembly elections and will not contest the elections. On Jarange's call, Maratha candidates had also filed nominations on many seats, but now Jarange has appealed to all to withdraw their nominations. Patil said that our fight for reservation will continue. He said that it had been decided in the meeting with Maratha leaders yesterday that the elections would not be contested.

When are the elections?
