Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: In the Maharashtra assembly elections, the Congress, a constituent of the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, has intensified its efforts to persuade its rebel candidates. According to the information, Maharashtra Congress in-charge Ramesh Chennithala himself is talking to the rebels. Ramesh Chennithala has so far called about 36 rebels himself. All the rebels are being assured by him that they should support the alliance for the time being. In the future, the party will take care of them and give them a proper place.

no friendly match

Earlier, Ramesh Chennithala had said that there will be no friendly contest between the constituents of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the Maharashtra Assembly elections and the party is trying to ensure that all its rebels withdraw their nominations.

Political parties facing rebellion

Let us tell you that after the distribution of tickets in Maharashtra, almost all the major political parties are facing rebellion. Many party workers have filed nominations for the assembly elections to be held on November 20, challenging their leadership. This has become a headache for both Mahayuti and MVA. November 4 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations and after this, a clear picture will emerge as to how many rebels are left in the fray.

The matter will be resolved by November 4

Chennithala, in charge of Congress affairs in Maharashtra, said his party leader Naseem Khan has been asked to talk to the Samajwadi Party and he hopes the issue (of nominations by rebels) will be resolved by November 4. He said, "All the rebels will withdraw. There will be no friendly fight in the MVA. Balasaheb Thorat, Vijay Wadettiwar and Nana Patole will talk to the rebels." The Congress leader said, "Forming an MVA government is our goal and for this, all our allies will fight the assembly elections in a disciplined manner."

Mahayuti alliance strange-chennithala

Terming the Mahayuthi alliance as "strange", Chennithala claimed that the BJP has fielded candidates for seats allotted to allies NCP and Shiv Sena. He said there was no Mahayuthi, only the BJP was contesting the elections. "The BJP has snatched the seats of allies," he said. Chennithala claimed that there were a lot of differences among the Mahayuthi allies. The Congress leader alleged that the BJP had "finished off" the NCP and Shiv Sena. "We have treated all allies of the Maha Vikas Aghadi equally," he said. Chennithala also claimed that the state government's flagship "Ladki Behan" scheme to provide financial assistance to women has been discontinued due to a lack of funds.
