An important meeting of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was held today on Wednesday at Hotel Sofitel in BKC, Mumbai. Sanjay Raut, Varsha Gaikwad, Bhai Jagtap, NCP (Sharad Pawar) Mumbai President Rakhi Jadhav were present at this meeting. According to sources, discussions were held between the parties of the Maha Vikas Aghadi regarding the 36 assembly seats of Mumbai, out of which consensus has been reached on about 30 to 32 seats. Congress has also given an update on the first list of its candidates.

After the completion of the meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi, Congress leader Bhai Jagtap has informed that 36 seats of Mumbai were discussed in MVA. About 90 percent of the seat-sharing work has been completed. The matter regarding the seats of Mumbai will be resolved soon. According to sources, the talks between Mahavikas Aghadi are stuck on the seats of Kurla, Byculla, Anushakti Nagar, Bandra East, Versova , etc.
When will Congress's first list come?
Congress leader Bhai Jagtap said that other senior leaders of Maharashtra Congress have gone to Delhi for a meeting today on Wednesday. He said that the first list of Congress candidates will be released the day after tomorrow i.e. on Friday, 18 October. Bhai Jagtap said that there is a process for the screening committee. After today's meeting, there will be a discussion in the CEC and the list will be finalized.
What did Congress say on the CM's face?
Congress leader Bhai Jagtap has also given a statement regarding the CM face of Mahavikas Aghadi in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Bhai Jagtap said that Congress never declared the CM face before the elections. We will decide who will be the CM after 23 November. Regarding Abu Azmi, Bhai Jagtap said that he is an old ally of our alliance. We are giving him a seat in Mumbai. Our leaders will talk to him and resolve the matter.
