Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday expressed confidence that the ruling Mahayuti will return to power. He released the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra on Sunday and also revealed who will be the next CM of the Mahayuti in Maharashtra. Amit Shah said that the decision on the name of the chief ministerial face will be taken by the alliance partners only after the elections are over. Shah said, "At present Eknath Shinde is the Chief Minister. After the elections, the three alliance partners will decide on the Chief Minister."
Amit Shah said a big thing.
Amit Shah said both the Shiv Sena and the NCP split because Uddhav Thackeray gave preference to his son over Eknath Shinde, while Sharad Pawar gave preference to his daughter over Ajit Pawar. "These parties gave preference to their family members and the parties broke up. Now they blame the BJP without any reason," he said.
Let us tell you that the Mahayuti includes BJP, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena faction, and Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction. Amit Shah said that all three allies of the alliance have released their manifestos and a committee of ministers will be set up after the elections to ensure that the election promises are fulfilled. Amit Shah said that the BJP is against "family-based politics".
Congress's allegations rejected
He rejected Congress' allegations that the BJP wanted to weaken reservation. "It is the Modi government that gave reservation to OBCs. We strengthened reservation," he said. Shah also attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying Gandhi's tryst with the Constitution has been "exposed" after a book allegedly written by him had blank pages. "He has now become a laughing stock," Shah said.
