Jharkhand assembly election : Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday asked the BJP who is its chief ministerial face in Jharkhand. He said the 'India' alliance's chief ministerial candidate is clear. Addressing an election rally in Dhanbad, Tejashwi asked people to ask the BJP who will be its chief ministerial face if it comes to power in Jharkhand as the 'India' alliance has clarity about its chief ministerial candidate.

Tejashwi said, 'Unemployment and inflation are increasing in the country due to the wrong policies of the BJP-led government at the Center. The BJP has failed to stop the rise in prices of essential commodities and increase employment opportunities.' The RJD leader alleged that the ruling party at the Center is misusing central agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and Income Tax Department to oust non-BJP governments in the states.

Tejashwi said, 'They (BJP) sent Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav to jail and tried to send me to jail too. We are not afraid of going to jail.' He said, 'They (BJP) are spreading hatred in the name of Hindus and Muslims to divert people's attention from real issues.'
