New Delhi: The results of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections are going to be announced on October 8. Before the election results, the results of the Axis-My India exit poll have come out. In the exit poll, the Congress alliance is seen moving ahead, while the BJP is seen lagging behind. 

How many seats will the Congress alliance get in the exit poll?

According to the exit poll of Axis-My India, out of the 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir, Congress+NC is expected to get 35-45 seats. BJP may get 24-34 seats. Others may get 16-26 seats. 

According to the exit poll, PDP can get 5 seats. Sajjad Lone's party can get 2 seats. Rashid Engineer can get 5 seats. His party can get 1 seat and independents can get 7 seats. 

BJP is likely to lead in Jammu region

According to the exit poll of Axis-My India, BJP can get 24 to 34 seats out of 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir but BJP is expected to be far ahead in Jammu region. BJP is expected to get 44% votes here. Congress alliance is expected to get 34% votes. 

71% Rajputs, and 69% Brahmins are expected to join the BJP. Rajputs, Brahmins, and Baniyas are seen to be with the BJP. Dalits and OBCs are expected to vote for BJP unanimously. Muslims may vote for Congress alliance unanimously. BJP is expected to get 43% Dalit votes in Jammu region. Congress alliance is expected to get 37% Dalit votes in the Jammu region.

When were the elections held?

Elections were held in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir. The first phase was held on September 18, the second phase on September 25, and the third phase on October 1. The election results will be declared on October 8. 

It is worth noting that voting has taken place on a total of 90 seats in Jammu and Kashmir. The eyes of the whole country and the world are fixed on the results of this election because the situation here has changed a lot since the elections were held 10 years ago.
