If you want to work in a government bank, then this opportunity is especially for you. Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has released a recruitment notification for 500 posts of Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) and 100 posts of Specialist-Agri Asset Officer (AAO). According to the official notification, the last date for submission of applications is November 30, 2024. At the same time, the examination for this recruitment can possibly be conducted between December 2024 and January 2025. Also, the notification said, "The exact date of the online test will be updated on the bank's website (career section) and call letter. Any personal mail/communication sent by the candidates will not be considered by the bank."

Eligibility Criteria

IDBI Bank has said that the candidates are required to produce the documents in original along with photocopies in support of their identity and eligibility such as category, nationality, age, academic qualification, work experience, physical disability, residence certificate (for self), language proficiency, etc.

Further, changes in the preferred category/zone and other details (email ID, contact number, etc.) will not be allowed at any stage after registration of the online application.

Age Limit

The age limit for the applicants in this recruitment is a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 25 years. Also, the candidate should not have been born before 2 October 1999 and after 1 October 2004 (both dates inclusive)

It is worth noting that the upper age limit is relaxed for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen).

Education Qualification

For JAM Grade 'O', the candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university.

Whereas, for AAO Grade 'O' Specialist, one must have 4 years degree (BSc/BTech/BE) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries Science/Engineering, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Forestry, Dairy Science/Technology, Food Science/Technology, Fisheries, Agroforestry, Sericulture from a university recognized/approved by AICTE, UGC.

Remember that General, EWS, and OBC candidates applying for this recruitment should have passed graduation with 60% marks and SC/ST/PwBD category candidates should have passed graduation with 55% marks.

Apart from this, candidates are also expected to know computer/IT-related aspects.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of an Online Test (OT), Document Verification (DV), Personal Interview (PI), and Pre Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT).

Additionally, the Bank will decide the minimum qualifying marks (sectional/total) based on the available vacancies. However, each candidate will be required to obtain minimum marks in each section of OT and also minimum overall marks to be selected for the interview.
