New Delhi: Google has introduced a new plan Google One Lite for its cloud storage subscription. This new plan is cheaper than the existing base plan of Google One and in this, users get 30GB of cloud storage. The price of this plan has been kept at Rs 59 per month and its annual subscription will be available for Rs 589.
Subscription for 15 rupees
However, at present this plan is available only for select users. Users can view it and subscribe only through the Google One app. At the same time, likely, the company will gradually roll it out for all users. Apart from cloud storage, no other benefits are being given with Google One Lite. Let us tell you, that AI features are also not included in this plan. Premium features like Gemini-powered AI are available only in high-priced plans, which offer 2TB cloud storage and its price is Rs 1950 per month.
Cloud storage at low cost
The company has also offered a special discount to some users on the first month's subscription. According to reports, some users are getting a two-month subscription at a monthly fee of Rs 15, but this offer will be valid only for the first month. Google's base plan is currently available for Rs 130 per month, which offers 100GB of cloud storage with the facility to share storage among 5 people. With the new Google One Lite plan, users are getting basic cloud storage at a lower price.
