BJP is considered to have suffered a bad defeat in the villages of Haryana, whereas, BJP has gained a slight lead in the urban areas of Haryana. In Haryana, 44 percent of men have preferred Congress, whereas, 42 percent of women have voted for Congress. In the cities of Haryana, BJP has got 40 percent votes, whereas, Congress has got 38 percent votes. 67 percent of Jats in Haryana have voted for Congress. Jats have not given many votes to the Chautala family. JJP-INLD has not got the votes of the Jats. The Saini community of Haryana has given 70 percent votes to BJP.

Farmers with Congress

In Haryana, BJP has got the votes of OBC, Gujjar, and Brahmin, while Congress has got the votes of Jats, Dalits, and Muslims. In Haryana, 51 percent of OBC votes have gone to BJP. 53 percent of Brahmin votes have gone to BJP. 53 percent of farmers of Haryana have voted for Congress. 47 percent of unemployed people of Haryana have voted for Congress while 40 percent of labourers have voted for Congress.

Who is ahead in which field?

  • Out of the 11 seats in Gurugram region, 5 are BJP, 5 Congress and 1 INLD 
  • Out of 12 seats in the Faridabad region, 3 are won by the BJP and 9 by the Congress
  • Out of 13 seats in Karnal region, 5 are BJP and 8 are Congress
  • Out of 20 seats in Rohtak region, 4 are contesting against BJP, 13 against Congress and 3 against other candidates
  • Out of 20 seats in Hisar region, 4 are contesting against BJP, 13 against Congress, 1 against INLD and 2 against other candidates
  • Out of the 14 seats in Ambala region, 2 are from BJP, 11 from Congress and one from another candidate

In this way, if we talk about the total 90 assembly seats in Haryana, BJP can win 23 seats, Congress 59, INLD 2 and other candidates can win 6 seats. According to the exit poll prediction of Axis-My India, BJP can win 18-28 seats, while Congress can win 53-65 seats. The INLD-BSP alliance can win 1-5 seats, while other candidates can win 3-8 seats.
