Lucknow: The UP government has given a big relief to lakhs of candidates who have been waiting for a long time for the new date of RO-ARO Pre and PCS Pre exams. According to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, the RO-ARO exam will be held in three shifts on December 22 and 23. While the PCS Pre exam will be held in two sessions on December 7 and 8.
PCS preliminary exam will be held on 7th and 8th December in two sessions
According to the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, the Uttar Pradesh PCS preliminary examination will be conducted on the 7th and 8th of December. This examination will be conducted in two sessions in 41 districts of the state. The first session of the examination will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second session will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The RO-ARO (Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer) Pre exam will be conducted on the 22nd and 23rd of December. This examination will be conducted in a total of three shifts.

The first and second shifts of the RO-ARO Pre exam will be held on December 22, in which the first shift will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The third shift will be held on December 23 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. 10.76 lakh candidates have applied for this exam.
According to the guidelines given by the commission, if there are more than 5 lakh candidates in one shift then it becomes mandatory to conduct the exam in multiple shifts. That is why this exam has been divided into three shifts.
