Mumbai. After the Maharashtra assembly election results, there is a tussle going on about who will become the CM. Meetings are being held one after the other. Meanwhile, the Mahayuti meeting to be held in Mumbai today has been postponed. According to sources, acting CM Eknath Shinde has suddenly gone to his village in Satara. After this, a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party can be held on December 1, in which the leader of the Legislature Party will be elected. The formality of choosing the leader will also be done in the Mahayuti meeting. According to the information, it has been decided in the meeting with Amit Shah that Devendra Fadnavis will be the Chief Minister and 22 ministers will be made from the BJP quota, while the Shiv Sena Shinde faction will get 12 ministers and 9 ministerial posts will go to Ajit Pawar's party. BJP will keep Home with itself while Finance can go to Ajit Pawar's quota. In such a situation, ministries like Urban Development will come in Shinde's share.
The meeting lasted two and a half hours.
Earlier on Thursday night, Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawa,r, and Devendra Fadnavis held a meeting with Amit Shah for two and a half hours. BJP President JP Nadda also attended it. Apart from this, Eknath Shinde talked to Amit Shah alone for half an hour. It is being told that the BJP high command has talked about giving Shinde the post of Deputy CM or Union Minister. If Shinde agrees to become a minister, then someone else from his faction can become Deputy CM. However, his party spokesperson Sanjay Sirsat has made it clear that it is difficult for Shinde to become Deputy CM. Any other leader of the party can take over this responsibility in his place.
Great performancbyof Mahayuti
Let us tell you that Mahavikas Aghadi has suffered a major setback in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Sharad Pawar's NCP, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), and Congress had contested the elections together. Mahavikas Aghadi was able to win only 46 seats in the 288-member assembly. On the other hand, Mahayuti performed brilliantly and won 230 seats.
