Three colleges of Delhi University (DU) are planning to introduce advanced diploma and certificate courses in East Asian languages. Ramjas College, Hansraj College, and Ramlal Anand College have sent a policy proposal to the university's academic council to introduce the new courses.
Opportunity to learn Korean, Chinese, and Japanese languages
The Academic Council will meet on October 10 to discuss various policy proposals and work reports approved by the vice-chancellor. According to the proposal, Ramjas College plans to start the 'Advanced Diploma in Korean' (KP-3) while Hansraj College plans to start a certificate course in Chinese language along with diploma courses in Korean (KP-2) and Japanese (JP-2) languages.

Ramlal Anand will start Advanced Diploma in Chinese (CP-3) and Japanese (JP-3) languages. These three courses will be started under the Department of East Asian Studies. Delhi University has dedicated departments for various foreign languages and many of its affiliated colleges offer diploma and certificate courses in these languages.
