Kailash Gahlot Resigns: Delhi's Transport Minister and senior AAP leader Kailash Gahlot has resigned from the primary membership of the Aam Aadmi Party. He has written a letter to the party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Many allegations have been made in the letter written by Kailash Gahlot. He has raised the issue of cleaning the Yamuna, Sheeshmahal, and the non-fulfillment of promises made to the people.

Kailash Gehlot wrote in the letter that there are many embarrassing and strange controversies like Sheeshmahal, which are now making everyone doubt whether we still believe in being a common man. It is now clear that there can be no real progress for Delhi if the Delhi government spends most of its time fighting the Center. I have no option left but to separate from AAP and hence I am resigning from the primary membership of Aam Aadmi Party.

Many promises remained unfulfilled due to political ambitions.

Kailash Gehlot wrote, that our political ambitions have overshadowed our commitment to the people, due to which many promises remained unfulfilled. Take for example Yamuna, which we promised to turn into a clean river, but this could never happen. Now Yamuna River has probably become more polluted than before. He said, it is painful that instead of fighting for the rights of the people, we are fighting only for our political agenda. This has severely weakened our ability to provide basic services to the people of Delhi.
