Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 to be held in Bihar has been canceled in some districts. This decision has been taken by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). This step has put a question mark on the future of thousands of candidates, who had been preparing for this exam for months.

The canceled exams were to be held mainly in districts like Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad, and Bhagalpur. The main reason for canceling the exam is said to be a question paper leak. The exam had to be canceled after the question paper went viral on social media.

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore said that a high-level committee had been formed to investigate the question paper leak. IT experts and cyber crime department officials have been included in this committee. The committee will submit its report as soon as possible, based on which further action will be taken.

There has been huge anger among the students after the examination cancellation. Many students demonstrated outside the BSEB office and demanded an early announcement of the new exam date. Students say that both their hard work and time have been wasted and they are facing mental stress.

The government has assured the students that strict action will be taken against the culprits. Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that the government is with the students and the new exam date will be announced soon. He said that this time extra vigilance will be taken in examining so that such incidents do not recur in the future.

Experts believe that this incident has adversely affected the image of Bihar's education system. He has suggested that technical measures should be adopted to increase transparency and security in the conduct of the examination. This may include biometric identification, CCTV surveillance, and tight security of question papers.

This entire matter has once again exposed the flaws in the examination system in Bihar. However, students and parents are hopeful that the government and the examination committee will learn from this incident and conduct more secure and transparent examinations in the future.

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of BSEB for the latest information and be patient. New exam dates will be announced soon and students will be given enough time to prepare.
