Samsung is expected to reveal the new Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone around April, which happens to be its most coveted ultra-slim model. As per the 9To5Google report that reviews semi-official sources like Seoul Economic Daily, Samsung is anticipated to organize its online event to showcase the Galaxy S25 Edge on the16th of April, with purchases available soon after in May.

The January Galaxy Unpacked event had a preview of the ultra slim model but further details were scant. The Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to be much sleeker than the standard S25 models. ALARMSA: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra review: AI-powered brilliance or new generation tweak?

Samsung Edge: What’s Coming Next Samsung’s dummy model benchmarked Galaxy S25 Edge at the January edition of Unpacked, revealing the featured dual rear camera. It is reported to sit at a whopping 5.84mm, making it far thinner than the base Galaxy S25 models. It’s designed to be far lighter than the flagship model too. The hypothesized lower weight will likely be due to the mods in battery and camera settings.

Rumors suggest the Edge model will have enhanced display capabilities, something between the base Galaxy S25 and the Plus variant’s 6.7 inch screen size. The Edge model should weigh around 162g, same as the base model, due to lower battery capacity. S25 Edge apparently has a 3900mAh battery, which is less than the rest of the S25 lineup.

In terms of imaging, expect the S25 Edge to feature a primary sensor of 200MP ISOCELL HP2, similarly as the rest of the Galaxy S25 Ultra line. Furthermore, unlike other models in the series, it is most probably going to feature a sole 12MP ultra wide sensor instead of a dedicated teelphoto camera.
