Chinese brand 'Tecno' introduces the world's slimmest smartphone
Leading smartphone manufacturers globally, such as Apple and Samsung, are reportedly developing their slimmest smartphones to date. At the Galaxy Unpacked event that took place last January, Samsung showcased the S25 Edge. Apple, on the other hand, seems to be invested in developing the iPhone 17 Slim or the Iphone 17 Air. An extremely competitive space is emerging with the slimmest smartphone in the world being produced by a surprise Chinese organization.
In fact, the brand Tecno from China has recently launched their slimmest smartphone called Tecno Spark Slim. Tecno will be unveiling this smartphone at the Mobile World Congress and it is set to only be 5.75 mm thin. A company has already confirmed the features the Tecno Spark Slim will possess.
The smartphone will have a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate. In addition, there is a 50 MP dual camera setup placed on the back of the smartphone, and a 13 MP dedicated camera for selfies and video calls.
The Tecno Spark Slim does have an octacore processor, but the specific type is still undisclosed. The phone also packs a 5,200 mAh battery that the company claims is only 4.04 mm thick. The phone also comes with a stainless steel frame and an aluminum body. This smartphone is now in direct competition with Apple and Samsung's thinnest smartphones.
