Know these things before applying for NEET 2025
The registration process for NEET UG 2025 will close by March 7 at precisely 11:50 pm, as reported by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The agency also encourages applicants to avoid waiting until the last moment and to start the process at the earliest to avoid any last minute issues on their end. Application forms are available on neet.nta.nic.in (official site).
In an official statement, NTA said, “As advised before, last minute applications will only add to the frustration of users. It is requested that candidates submit their applications on time to avoid the last minute rush.”

Be sure to download the confirmation page post submission. For evidence of payment, confirmation pages must accompany the deduction of funds from accounts, as deduction alone is not sufficient.
When applying, always have the following documents available: Name, Parents name (must be spelled correctly), Class 12 Admit card (must have photo), Voter card (have EPIC number), Passport Number, Aadhar Card, Ration Card Number, Bank account number, Other government issued ID Number, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Email ID, and etc.
Before commencing the form filling, candidates should go over the replica of the application form provided in Appendix XV of Information Bulletin.
Indians must hold any single identity proof amongst Aadhaar, Voter ID EPIC, Bank Ration card, Class 12 admit card, Passport number, or Photo ID issued by Government. Foreign nationals must hold passport number or Citizenship certificate number. NRIs only require their passport number.
Required Documents: A recent passport sized photo in .jpg or .jpeg no more than 200 kb. Stamps and initials in JPG or JPEG (10kb-200kb), along with scanned signature in JPG/JPEG no greater than 50kb and PWD saint pdf no less than 50kb or documents proving disabled citizen status. PDFs proving citizenship no greater than 300kb.
Candidates ought to use their parents’ email and phone number. NTA has requested for students to select a valid permanent and current to include pin code. Users are advised to avoid providing addresses and contacts of internet establishments or coaching centres.
Once the form has been submitted, applicants must keep a minimum of four copies of the confirmation page as well as the fee payment receipt for future use. Scanned photographs, signatures, admit cards, and scorecards must also be saved until the end of the admission cycle.
