Blind people can also become judges: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has given a historic decision on Monday. After this decision, now visually impaired people can also become judges. The court has said that blind people can also become judges. They also have the right to appointment to judicial services.

This historic decision has been given by a bench of Supreme Court Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan.

The court said in its decision that no one can be excluded from judicial services on the basis of disability.

Along with this, the court has also canceled the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service Rules, which was preventing visually impaired people from participating in the selection process for appointment to judicial services.

Let us tell you that the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service Rules were challenged in the court by a woman.

This woman's blind son wanted to join the judiciary. Due to which the woman had written a letter to the court. The court has given a historic verdict on this.
