Big statement of the family on the murder of Congress leader Himani Narwal
In the murder case, big revelations have emerged from the family of Congress worker Himani Narwal. Her mother suspects that the murder stems from political vendetta, while her sibling has hinted that some Congress member might have done it. In fact, Himani’s body was found stuffed in a blue suitcase which was dumped near the Sampla bus stand at approximately 11am on Sunday.
From the details available, it appears that Himani Narwal was a known person. She had participated in the election campaign of Ex-CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Deependra Singh Hooda also as well as participated in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. While blaming Himani’s murder, Savita, her mother, stated, ‘Elections and the party took away my daughter’s life. That is why she had some vendetta. These people (criminals) could be from the party or even her associates.’
Himani’s mother said, ‘She was on the 28th of February and I was at home. For the first time, we received the call from the police that got us aware of the case. My daughter was quite friendly with Asha Hooda who is the wife of Bhupinder Singh Hooda. I will not conduct the last rites until she gets justice.’ She added, ‘I lost my elder son in 2011 and there was no justice served. The fear stayed with us and I took my younger son away from thereand to the BSF camp.’
Savita, the mother of the Congress worker said, “After the elections, Himani was slightly disheartened with the party. She complained that rather than being active in the party, she wanted a job that did not require a lot of effort. She had been with the Congress for the last 10 years.”
According to the Brother of the deceased Jatin, ‘that is Asha’s suitcase and suspect from the Congress party is a possibility because of the sudden power rise India has witnessed’. Jatin added, ‘I also participated for few days in the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Rahul Gandhi’ ‘I called Asha Hooda in the morning, but she did not pick my call,’.
‘She used to do padyatras with people like Rahul Gandhi,’ said Jatin, the deceased’s brother.
