News18 further reports that close aides to Amrullah Saleh disclosed that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence has an agent embedded in Afghanistan’s air traffic control. It is alleged that this agent has an extensive contact network in the airports and in Afghanistan’s aviation system that provides intelligence on air routes and manifest. The name of the agent is “S-Adat Mohammad” and his diplomatic passport number is CF8157287 – the agent is said to be working for Pakistan in relation to Afghanistan’s aviation infrastructure. He manages a web of informants and associates across airports, the Afghan Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Taliban interior Ministry. This agent was also trying to get into GAAC, a UAE owned company, that runs four key Afghan airports.

Khost Airport actively spying Pakistan

As per what was reported earlier, Mohammad was contracted to head the management of Khost province’s airport that he got into discussions with the Taliban about in February 2024.
