BJP to release ‘Sankalp Patra’ shortly; expected promises are…
BJP's manifesto is anticipated to address the needs of the women, dalits, and elderly people of the society and mainly will be free of cost schemes, heavy investing aids, and construction works.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party will be releasing its first manifesto or ‘Sankalp Patra’, at 2 pm today, in view of the forthcoming assembly elections in Delhi scheduled for 2025. It will be made out by JP Nadda, the President of the party, at the BJP Headquarter in Delhi.
The ‘Sankalp Patra‘ of the BJP seeks to compete with the free giveaways promised by the Aam Aadmi party and the promises made by Congress to other political parties. Furthermore, it is expected that the ’Sankalp Patra ‘ will primarily focus on women, underprivileged women and senior women by combining free schemes, subsidies and infrastructure development.
On Thursday, the BJP made available its fourth roster of nine candidates, completing its quota of thirty-eight out of forty constituents and setting aside two for its allies. The seats have been equally divided between partners in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA): Janata Dal United and Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas. For instance, the JD(U) will fight for the Burari constituency, while LJP revolutionaries will fight for the Deoli seat. Media reports indicate that JD(U) candidate Shailendra Kumar will contest for the Burari seat, while LJP (RV) is expected to finalize its candidate for Deoli soon.
What should people anticipate in the BJP’s Sankalp Patra?
More specifically, the women might be offered lump monthly payments. They may also guarantee free bus travel for women, male students and senior citizens. Besides these promises, the party is expected to say that households will receive 300 units of free electricity and places of worship 500 units each. And also, it might include providing low cost homes under the “where there are slums, there are homes” initiative.
In the context of the issue of clean Yamuna which has been dragging for decades now, the saffron party could also commit to the task of cleaning the holy river.
