Mukesh Ambani's Mega Offer: Jio's ₹999 Plan with Unlimited 5G Data for 98 Days

India’s biggest telecommunications provider, Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio, is known for its budget-friendly tariff plans. Recently, they have been launching new competitively priced ones to rival state-owned BSNL, which has regained some of its strength. One such plan in focus is the Rs 999 plan which offers unlimited high-speed 5G for 98 days and comes with a pretty decent price of only a 999.
Jio’s Rs 999 plan is targeted for long-term users avoiding the hassle of having to recharge monthly. It contains 2GB of 4G high speed data each day, unlimited 5G for those in the coverage area with compatible phones, free calls to any network in the country, free roaming, and 100 text messages daily. Additionally, it also comes with JioTV, JioCloud, and JioCinema.
These features, combined with the price of just Rs 999 for 98 days of validity, make these plans less than Rs 10 per day. This makes it the most affordable recharge plan available.
Jio’s 189 Rupee Plan
In response to their growing competition, Mukesh Ambani-led Jio has brought back their cheapest tariff plan as of late. They had previously stopped offering their 189 rs plan, but now, users can find this more pocket-friendly plan under the ‘Affordable Packs’ category of the site.
Jio’s 189 Rs plan comes with 2GBs of high-speed 4G data (speed falls to 64kbps once exhausted), along with unlimited voice calls to all networks in India, 300 SMS, and roaming services with a validity period of 28 days. They focus more on callers who seldom use mobile internet needing more data, which makes these affordable tariff plans perfect for them.
The plan that offers coverage of Jio’s supplementary services like Jio TV, Jio Cloud, and Jio Cinema have also been increased during the same time last year with the additional Rs 34 fee, which replaced the prior charge of Rs 155.
Attractive Plans Jio Offers
After the mobile tariff increase in July last year, BSNL users shifted in bulk and so did the India’s largest telecom provider, Reliance Jio. To attract these new customers, Jio, who is owned by Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, shifted to offering numerous appealing recharge plans.
Reliance Jio’s losses mounted to 40 lakh users during this time, allowing additional customers over the age of 55 million to be added to BSNL between July and August.
