BIG Win for Mukesh Ambani! Bags ₹2000 Crore Rights in This Year’s…

According to The Economic Times report, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL) has purchased a sponsorship for the IPL 2025 season with plans to plant Campa Cola’s brand where it is most visible. This sponsorship is significantly over 200 crores, which is set to cement Campa’s push for the brand. This deal mark a significant shift in IPL's sponsorship as it will replace last year's Coca-Cola sponsorship for its Thums Up brand.
Major Push For Campa
The 2025 installment of the IPL season, starting on March 21st and running to May 25th, marks an important window campa's push for the brand. Unlike the brand's previous strategic restrictions to select markets, the advertisement has the potential to be nationwide.
Campa Cola will not only stand out on IPL's platforms this season, but RCPl will also aggressively market two recently launched sports drinks, Spinner and RasKik Gluco Energy at the affordable price of ten Rs. During the IPL games, these beverages may be released with Neteller advertising.
In the same vein, Coca-Cola will retain the relationships with Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders by using its current sponsorship with Domino’s Pizza because Jubilant FoodWorks owns 40% of the Coca-Cola bottling subsidiary, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB).
IPL 2025: Summer Season Possibility
As one on the primary attention seekers, IPL draws considerable advertiser interest and media buying executives estimate ads on television and OTT would gross Rs 4500 crore in IPL 2025, which is a 8-10% increase from last year.
These March to July months, which bring in over half of India’s yearly volume sales of soft drink evaporating concentrates, should sharpen the cola wars. Campa’s recent advertising blitz in IPL and price undercutting strategy may help it seize market share from the Cola giants Coca-Cola and Pepsi.
