This Actor Had Just 2 Hits in 17 Years but Still Lives in Luxury

Some of them are Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan and Tusshar Kapoor etc who are the well known actors in Bollywood belong to film industry’s families. Their glamorous lifestyles are all the same unchanged, even though their attempts to conquer the market turned into a failure. This is self-explanatory and perhaps one of the most pathetic roles of the Bollywood kingdom where an actor, whose father and grandfather were stars in the same industry could not make a place for himself and lay a firm foundation to emerge as a successful star.
Neil Nitin Mukesh had his starttime in the Bollywood industry in the year 2007 with the film Johnny Gaddaar directed by Sriram Raghavan. The movie is with Dharmendra, Zakir Hussain, Vinay Pathak and Govind Namdev has not happened at box office and the total collections are Rs. 5.68 crores only.
A Slow Start in Bollywood
There was an initial hiccough and it took his second flick Aa Dekhen Zara which turned out to be another failure at the box office. However, this was under his first hospital appointment in New York in 2009. Neil having acted alongside John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, and Katrina Kaif in New York was well received and turned into a hit; thus, the recognition that Neil required. He had a major contribution with presence opposite some of the top heroes of Bollywood.
A String of Unsuccessful Films
Soon enough, Neil was by the hard way as his fortunes turn from bad to worse. In this phase he acted in Jail, Lafangey Parindey 7 Khoon Maaf, Players, David, 3G and Shorts Romeo none of which proved to be Blockbuster hit or even semi hit instead most of it were Flop or Below average at the Box Office.
The following year, Neil made his negative mark as a villain in the movie starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s titled Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Ironically, success and recognition that he coveted always as lead actor came when he portrayed an antagonist. Many unreal expectations were placed on Neil as he is the grandson of Mukesh, the legendary singer and Nitin Mukesh, a famous singer of the Indian film industry.
Nevertheless, things did not go as planned for the actor in Bollywood and yet, he remains quite a womanizer. He owns luxury cars and a splendid house in Lucknow and boasts of a total worth of about INR 37 Crores. Neil got married to Rukmini Sahay in the year 2017; she is not connected to the film industry. The couple is blessed with a daughter and they have not disclosed much about their family life in public domain.
