Russia Destroys 83 Ukrainian Drones Over Krasnodar Region

In an overnight assault on Ukraine’s southern Krasnodar region, Russian officials claim to have wiped out 83 Ukrainian drones, which caused destruction to several homes, including in the Black Sea port of Tuapse.
Russia’s defense ministry released a statement asserting that 128 Ukrainian drones were obliterated within their borders. Notably, the ministry is silent about the damage inflicted to Ukraine or the extent of the Ukrainian drone barrage.
According to the Telegram messaging app, Krasnodar's Governor Veniamin Kondratyev noted, “three homes were harmed across the area, but no injuries were reported.”
As noted by the head of the Tuapse municipality on Telegram, a house in Tuapse did set ablaze, but has been extinguished since.
He continued, “air defense systems kept operational.”

Ukrain SHOT, which operated the Telegram channel, informed that drones from Ukraine seemed to have been directed towards the port region, and the locals reported nearly 40 blasts during what they believed was the activation of the missiles protection system.
Reuters was not able to substantiate this particular piece of information.
Ukraine has also not provided any statement concerning this matter.
Tuapse, located near Russia's largest oil facility, has been victim to Ukrainian drones on multiple occasions since the start of the war three years back.
As of Tuesday, 2247 GMT, air traffic from Sochi International Airport which is 150 km southeast Tuapse, was suspended for air safety reasons. This was according to Rosavitsia, Russia's aviation watchdog, who leaked this information on telegram.
