Rising Threat for India: Jaish & LeT Strengthen Terror Nexus

JeM and LeT are two major terrorist organizations of Pakistan which have decided to associate with Hamas. This ally was publicly witnessed in Rawalakot, Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on the occasion of event ’Kashmir solidarity Day’. This is because at this occasion, the Jaish militants were actively seen guarding the main Hamas leaders on the stage. One of the Jaish terrorists who was present on the stage made an important statement declaring that the organization of Hamas and several Pakistani militant groups are now linked.
Among the important audience members were Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar’s brother Talha Saif, Jaish commanders Asghar Khan Kashmiri and Masood Ilyas, and top LeT operatives.
Anti-India hate speech
If one recalls during the event, leaders had a fiercely threatening tone against India and were issuing bounties on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. To support his views, one of the terrorists said that fighters of both Palestine and Kashmir are now cooperating. He even went to the extent of threatening to spill blood in Delhi, parting Kashmir with India, and dismantling India itself.
Pakistan’s support for Hamas
To go back in time, one should note that Pakistan has a history of relations with Hamas. The terrorists of Hamas receive their training from the Pakistani military in airs and navy courses with the assistance of the special services group of Pakistan. Some of the trained terrorists launch attacks on Israel, while others take up various other jobs as they continue to be trained. Funding from Pakistan is received in large amount by Hamas. Even after the recent conflict between Israel and Gaza, the Pakistani leaders visited Qatar and addressed Hamas Officials also.
Most of the activities of Hamas, a Palestinian terrorist group that has recently engaged in a war with Israel have been witnessed in the Middle East Greece. However, its apparent participation in a Pakistan-backed event will mean that it is extending its operation and strengthening its relations with other terrorist groups in Pakistan. This also gives an implication that Pakistan is sponsoring international terrorism so as to cause disorder within the region.
Some of the leaders of Hamas in the past have even uttered statements against India particularly on the matter of Kashmir. Account has also been given that the intelligence reports on Hamas’ affiliation with the radical groups present in the South Asian countries pose threat to the regional security.
