Ratan Tata’s Aide Shantanu Naidu Meets Shah Rukh Khan—With a Twist!

Shah Rukh Khan and Shantanu Naidu: News enthusiasts must be aware of Shantanu Naidu who was a close friend to the late Ratan Tata. Just to put it in context for everyone, Shantanu Naidu is a businessman and an entrepreneur in his own right. He is further known in the world of business and news for working with the former chairman of the Tata group, Ratan Tata, as his assistant. Shantanu Naidu’s close ties to the business world garnered further scrutiny when the billionaire passed away last year. 

Who is Shah Rukh Khan? 

For those of you that are still lost, we are referring to Shah Rukh Khan’s name who works as a junior engineer in the Department of Atomic Energy DAE in Mumbai. The whole experience of meeting the late Ratan Tata along with his friend Shantanu Naidu is eerily fascinating and indeed worth reading. In the LinkedIn post, Shah Rukh Khan has mentioned that while coming back from work one day, he met Shantanu and asked him for a selfie. Remarkably, he notes that Shantanu Naidu so willingly accepted made him quite elated.

In the screenshot above shared on the internet, Shantanu appears to have commented on Shahrukh’s post with the message ‘Best wishes friend’. 

For those who don’t know, this week, Shantanu Naidu has joined Tata Motors as General Manager, Head – Strategic Initiatives.

To announce this new role, Shantanu Naidu wrote on LinkedIn while celebrating, “I am pleased to announce, I’m starting a new position as General Manager, Head – Strategic Initiatives at Tata Motors. Comes full circle now. I still remember fondly the days my father used to walk home in his white shirt and navy pants from the Tata Motors plant, and I would wait for him at the window.”

It was my biggest goal since coming to Mumbai to meet Ratan Tata. There were many different methods through which I tried to meet him but was unsuccessful until one day while returning home from work I met Shantanu Naidu Sir. I must say I was very surprised seeing how such a well-mannered person who is closely associated with Ratan Tata, could be so polite.
