A Kashmir solidarity rally was held in Pakistan on Wednesday as Pakistani politicians battle to present themselves as the best proponents of the Kashmiri cause. Every Indian statement is met with fierce counter attacks and criticism from each politician, which helps him in his election campaign. The religio-political parties of Pakistan are fully supporting this initiative.

What Is the Jamaat Chief’s Comments in the Rally?

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan branch has a head in Lahore, and he is Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, and as such he organized a rally in which he attacked India adversarially. In his own words, “Kashmir is a vital sustainer for Pakistan and letting it remain with the Hindu Brahmins is not an option.” He further went on to accuse the Indian intelligence service of having targeted assassinations of Indians residing in Pakistan, and responded on the behalf of the US and Canada. Along with this, he defended the approach of global isolation of India through diplomatic means.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman’s Profile: All You Need

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman is a Pakistaned Islam hardliner cleric.

Additionally, he holds the position of the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami and their political faction.

As a Pakistani social activist, engineer, and politician, he presents himself as one of them. In the year 2024-2029, Hafiz Naeem has been appointed as the new Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islam Pakistan.

Naeem was born on 7th November 1973 to a middle class, urdu speaking family of Muhajirs in Hyderabad, Pakistan. His family migrated from India during the partition in 1947.

He studied at Jamia Masjid Darul Uloom in Latifabad, Hyderabad Sindh, where he completed his Quran memorization.

He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from NED university and later completed a Master’s degree in Islamic History from Karachi University.

Their children, three sons and a daughter, are all politically active, as is his wife, who is a doctor.

Naeem is a water treatment engineer with over 20 years of experience in the fields of engineering and construction for industrials and multi-residential buildings.
