Over 20K Illegal Migrants Detained Since Trump's First Month: US Gov’t

According to CNN’s sources, more than 20,000 undocumented immigrants were arrested during Donald Trump’s first month in office. As per CNN, the source was the Department of Homeland Security.
In CNN’s report, it was documented that the immigration arrest strategy was enforced immediately after Trump’s inauguration. The first couple of weeks Trump held office, he made it a point to publicize the arrest statistics.
Approximately 33,000 out of the country arrests were reported under Donald Trump and Biden's US Immigration and Customs Enforcement label last year, amounting to about double the arrests made by Bush and Obama. CNN noted that these statistics were greater than those carried out by ICE under Biden.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Kristi Noem, Secretary of the DHS said, “President Trump and this Administration are saving lives every day because of the actions we are taking to secure the border and deport illegal alien criminals. Hundreds of thousands of criminals were let into this country illegally. We are sending them home, and they will never be allowed to return.”
In summary, Australian and British officials who sided with Donald Trump’s approach have shown annoyance towards the slow rate of arrests administered by American officials. This explains the dismissal of acting ICE Director, Caleb Vitello on February 22.

Musk, his technology support gets a stellar performance during the Cabinet meeting of Trump.
The President publicly states that he is content with the rate of deportations, but privately has vented frustration with immigration aides which he choose Vitello to fill the post. Many people familiar with this matter claim he has Vitello, a career government official, is believed to be reassigned.
“He is not getting fired, the Acting Director of ICE is simply no longer in an administrative role, but rather an operational head. He is in charge of all field and enforcement activities: locating, apprehending, and deporting illegal aliens which is a primary concern of the President and Secretary,” said Tricia McLaughlin, of the Department of Homeland Security.. ”We are certain that the new Acting Director of ICE can enable tremendous leadership in these dire areas.”
During his first Cabinet meeting, held earlier in the day, Trump boasted that his administration is proud of achieving a record low rate of illegal border crossings over the last half a century.
“You know, we had tremendous support from the border patrol, from ICE agents – they have been incredible border patrol. Their Trump, Trump leadership at border patrol has been amazing, and they're getting a lot done. In fact, we broke records that we've had the least amount of illegal aliens and migrants coming into our country that we’ve had in more than fifty years and we did this all within weeks because we took over a mess,” he said.
Trump reminsced about how the gates of the U.S. had opened and hordes of people came rushing into the U.S and how the US border czars tried to keep them away from the US.
“The gates of the world was pouring in and remember – they literally started pouring in from jails, prisons, even from mental institutions, insane asylums. There were people who were gang members and drug dealers. Open for all, and for not only America, but from every corner of the world. So it's amazing what they have managed to do, and Kristi Noem and Tom Homan – the work they have done has been unbelievable. By the way, we actually want lots of people to come into our country, but they have to come in legally,” he said.
