Okhla Election Result 2025: AAP’s Amanatullah Khan Defeats AIMIM’s Shifa Ur Rehman

Okhla assembly constituency seat has been won by Amanatullah Khan of the AAP who has defeated AIMIM's Shifa Ur Rehman Khan. The counting of the votes for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 will be held on February eight at eight AM. The New Delhi constituency witnesses an intense three way contest where Arvind Kejriwal, the former chief minister of Delhi from AAP, is battling it out with the BJP’s Parvesh Verma and Congress’ Sandeep Dikshit, who is the son of Sheila Dikshit.

As a result, these elections are extremely crucial for AAP, BJP and Congress because both, AAP and BJP have something to prove, AAP wants to maintain its power for the 3rd consecutive term while BJP aims to regain power after nearly 27 years. Even congress which had a hold on the state for 15 years has been unable to win any seats in the 2015 and 2020 elections. The BJP has Manish Chaudhary, who Amanatullah Khan form AAP and Ariba Khan from INC and Shifa Ur Rehman Khan from AIMIM.

Election Results for Delhi are coming in at around 1:29 PM, Shifa Khan from the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen has been trailing while AAP’s Amanatullah Khan is currently leading with a margin of 19,954 votes.

12:47 PM: There is a reversal in the standings in the Okhla constituency voting, with Shifa Ur Rehman from the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen still trailing and Amanatullah Khan from the Aam Aadmi Party leading by 15,178 votes.
