With Trump back, India has made it clear that it will cooperate with the US on each matter regarding illegal migrants and trade.

New Delhi : Now that Donald Trump is the President of the United States of America, a tariff war has emerged between the US and different countries including China, Canada and Mexico. As was mentioned before, Trump recently threatened BRICS countries and it was stated that there was growing unease in India. However, reports coming in nowadays show that India and the United States are engaging in some diplomacy and the probability of India being highly affected by the tariff war is off.

According to the source acquainted with the situation, countries of the alliance have top-priority concerns that India will address. Also, India has placed especial significance to the United States in the strategic context. He also informed that no trade concern was discussed by Washington.

“Washington is not hiding the fact that it considers the BRICS countries as its rivals: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.” Still, India is not a part of such decision,” he stated. “The relations of India and the US are rather friendly, as the countries are marked by confidence in each other.” This he said, dismissed Indian ideas that New Delhi is taking measures that may inconvenience Washington.

Another opined that while interacting with the newspaper on this issue that with Trump back in the picture, New Delhi has aptly conveyed its willingness to cooperate with USA in all issues concerning immigration and trade unlawful. He said that Trump has threatened to slap a 100 percent tariff on the BRICS group; he went on to explain the risks involved with India.


The premier had also talked to President Trump and deliberated over the matters of international peace and security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had emphasized that India sought a win-win and dependable relationship for India and Nigeria.
