Micromax Informatics, an Indian electronics company, declared on Wednesday the launch of Startup Energy, which is their new renewable energy project.

The company plans to ‘disrupt the solar panel manufacturing sector in India’ which will help increase the use of renewable energy and support the country’s additional clean energy goals, the company said in a statement.

Additionally, the firm aims to focus on the production of high-efficiency solar panels for residential, commercial, and industrial uses making solar power more affordable and scalable throughout the country.

“Of course, the goal is to ensure she the reigns of sustainable derived power are made accessible, trustworthy and economical to everyone across the globe,” said Rajesh Agarwal, Managing Director of Micromax.

The project will be done in multiple stages with the goal of providing solar power through automation and highly efficient module production technologies.

Company Energy plans to build a plant with state of the art automation and precision engineering technologies. The company will also seek strategic R&D partnerships to develop new solar solutions that optimize energy efficiency and durability.
