Meet IAS Officer Jyoti Yadav: Recently Promoted to Joint Secretary in Government of India

Educational Qualifications of IAS Jyoti Yadav

With regards to her education, IAS Jyoti Yadav earned an undergraduate degree in Arts from the University of Delhi. Thereafter, she pursued her Masters in Economics from the renowned faculty of the Delhi School of Economics. This was not the end of her academic endeavor, as in 2017 she graduated from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University with a Masters degree in International Relations and Affairs. Now, she serves as the joint secretary to the government which was her last known posting.

Her LinkedIn account states that she is a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and she describes herself as, “Dynamic, detail-focused with proven success in public administration, policy development, and international trade negotiations. Skilled in complex negotiations, stakeholder management, and strategic planning to protect and promote India’s economic interests abroad.”   

Professional Career of IAS Jyoti Yadav

In terms of professional accomplishments, IAS Jyoti Yadav was the director in charge of Trade Negotiations at the Department of Commerce of the Government of India. In addition to this, she also held the post of District Magistrate (DM) in Tehri district in the state of Uttarakhand.
