Meet Awadh Ojha: Mentor to IAS, IPS Officers, Faces Big Defeat in Patparganj

Delhi Election Results 2025: Pedagogy together with political ambitions placed Ojha, as a popular tutor at UPSC, in the fray from Patpargnaj constituency. However, he received an embarrassing defeat getting only 45,988 votes against Ravinder Singh Negi of BJP, who secured 74,060 casted votes and as such registered a victory by a shocking 28,072 margin. It is said that Ojha was a potential candidate to contest the Lok Sabha elections downside is his loosing the AAP nomination. He was just 25,000 votes behind competitors.  He won’t be a pav otherwise he would owe money to the Owaisi sisters.

Ojha’s Grand defeat is shocking to people. Users social media have taken the lower side meme of the popular phrase, “Think like a King and you will become to one”, troll the Oja cast me captioned this phrase, “Looks like Ojha sir will not be able to become a king after all’ on X said a user.

What is Awadh Ojha’s background? 

UPSC Civil Services Examination is a rigorous test to qualify for a civil services job in India; because it is highly competitive, people seek coaching. From Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, Awadh Pratap Ojha is an educator for IAS aspirants for over 20 years. He is very popular among social media users, which is evident with him having millions of followers. Along his 22 year long teaching career, Ojha has also trained many reach the higher echelons of civil services as IAS and IPS officers.

An Ojha was born into a middle class family on 03/07/1984. He was the son of Mata Prasad Ojha, a postmaster, who was deeply inclined towards education. Having a single father raised in a low socio economic background, Obha was bought 5 acres of land which aided greatly for his wife to become a lawyer. Alongside, he was also funded to study in Delhi. While Obha was a father himself, he sold off a parcel of land to help fund his child’s education. 

Teacher and uncle to aspire from 

Awadh made the attempt to clear the UPSC CSE by taking it during his childhood years. Until being unsuccessful in the mains section; Obha sold land to fund while besides was teaching children alongside moving towards a career as a civil servant. Eventually Obha transitioned to running a coaching institute in Prayagraj (Previously known as Allahabad). Now, he is aspiring to bring more impact in the education system.

Although he was not able to realize his aspiration of serving in the civil services, Awadh Ojha has mentored and taught hundreds of students preparing for UPSC exams, a majority of whom have passed the civil services exams with his help. 

PhD complete. law degree – check, masters in arts – check. This is all part of his educational prowess.
