Madhya Pradesh In a Shocking Crime- Husband In A Married Relationship Takes The Life Of His Live In Girlfriend, And Conceals Her Corpse In The Fridge For Eight Months
Her hands were tied and a rope was placed about her neck, her corpse was discovered still dressed in a saree and jewelry.
Madhya Pradesh: A shocking incident has been reported from Dewas where a husband is accused of strangling his live-in partner and hiding her remains in a fridge for about 8 months. Police believe that the woman was murdered in the month of June in the previous year. As gleaned from the police, the decaying remains of Pinky Prajapati were recovered last Friday from a fridge inside a house rented by the accused Sanjay Patidar. According to reports, the woman’s corpse was still adorned with jewels and a sari, while her hands were tied and her neck bore evidence of a scarf. It was alleged that while the woman had been bugging him to marry her, Patidar and his friend murdered her instead. In the quest to cover the crime, it is speculated that Sanjay stashed her corpse in the refrigerator. Dewas District Superintendent of Police Puneet Gehlot informed PTI that the woman is around 30 years old and conjectured that her death took place around June 2024. “Once the neighbours caught a whiff of the foul smell, they buzzed the landlord who unlocked a part of the house. Police were later informed about the woman’s corpse that was found hidden in a disassembled fridge.
He further explained that the property is in the possession of Dhirendra Shrivastava whom he claims resides in Indore and that Shrivastava rented the house to Patidar in June 2023. Additionally, even after a year had passed after he left the premises of the house, Patidar claimed that he would remove them later and left his belongings in his study room and inside the master bedroom.
According to police officer Amit Solanki, as reported by PTI, he said, "Patidar would sometimes come to this house sometime but recently the present occupant of the house requested the landlord to give access to this part of the house. As the landlord had shown the tenant this portion of the house, the tenant's landlord locked it again because Patidar's items were inside and turned off the power supply which was on Wednesday.”
This is how the whole incident started as they turned off the power to the refrigerator which and that led to the smell of rotten food all over the house and that is when the landlord called the police. Inspector Solanki said, "Patidar has been arrested so he is being interrogated." He said that the investigation related to the case of Pinky Prajapati’s death is still ongoing.
A similar case is of Shraddha Walkar murder case which happened in Delhi where Aaftab Amin Poonawala has allegedly smothered his partner and then in 2022 dismembered her in the bath tub.
