To bring an end to the high voltage campaigning AAP and other parties also carried out different-model spoofs of campaigning so as to increase tension in the battle field in approaching Delhi Assembly Polls on Feb 5.
According to the Model Code of Conduct issued by the Election Commission, the public meetings, the election related functions and campaigning should not be conducted 48 hours prior to the closing of the polls.

The campaigning in the Delhi assembly polls ends at 1700 hours on Monday and January 29 will be silent as is mandatory before a poll. Approximately 1, 56, 00 voters will cast their vote on February 5 and in all 699 candidates are in the race for 70 assembly seats of Delhi.

However, as all the three major parties, AAP, Congress and BJP led from the front and campaigned on the last day before the end of the election campaign on Sunday. This time, a resurging BJP is eager to end AAP’s successful run and the Congress is also not a far-off player and, the national capital is all set to witness one of the biggest electoral wars. The outcome of elections will determine if the slogans that have been used were appealing to the electorate or the political framework of the capital city is as it was.

While AAP might toughen its position in Delhi, BJP might come back to power or Congress might pull a surprise and whatever goes in the next month and the final results are declared on 8th February.
