This film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, flopped badly at box-office, SRK played role of rickshaw puller, can you guess the name of film?

The first movies that come to the mind of viewers when we mention Salman Khan, as well as Shah Rukh Khan, are Karna Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Om Shanti Om, Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam and so on where their onscreen and off-screen skills wowed the fans. But there happens to be one film that is not quite as mainstream and memorable, but it did have Shah Rukh and Salman in it, though as cameos. We are talking about the 1996 movie Dushman Duniya Ka.

Mehmood was the director and the cast includes Jeetendra and Sumalatha in the lead roles while Shah rukh and Salman Khan had packaging role. The movie revolves around young Lucky, who becomes severely addicted to drugs after being surrounded by the wrong people, which later on leads to him becoming a criminal. While his father, Mahesh was able to make some strides to bring what is in order in the family, the added crime also meant it was going to be even harder to fix things. The issues of crime were deeply rooted and progressed quite a lot. This strong message the film depicted was centered around drug addiction, especially the influence it has on a family, and where parents find themselves in grave dilemmas trying to save their children.

The film did not enjoy box office success and faced scathing reviews even though there were notable actors in it. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s faces on the promotional poster mislead viewer expectations as both only made brief appearances which could have resulted in the audience feeling robbed, which contributed to the poor reviews faced by the film.

The film was made on a budget on Rs 1.25 crore and had a worldwide earning of Rs 1.13 crore. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were present on the advertising posters but only played roles in it for a few minutes and had no interactions.
