In an interview with CNBC Make It, Kassan further explained that selling his business was a wake-up call that made him feel like he had nothing to do anymore. “It became a blur, I think I lost my sense of purpose,” he said, “For the first time I am feeling that I don’t have a purpose in the last few years…” Despite her success, she admits that she failed to find something as important as that journey of an entrepreneur.

Post- sale, he was struggling with anxiety and depression gradually cycling through the state in an unhealed condition. It was rather authoritarian and desperate when Kassan, looking back on his life, commented that he can’t buy more of peace of mind; meaning power or wealth could not help him overcome his emotional problems.
From College Dropout to Multi Millionaire
Prior to the creation of MVMT Watches, Kassan also performed as an entrepreneur when still a teenager. In 2008, he started his enterprise involving production of and sales of glow-in-the-dark T-shirts as he was in his college at the Santa Barbara City College. Nonetheless, he withdrew from the college in his first year with an intention to focus on his business endeavors.

Amidst such a scenario, in the year 2013, Kassan launched MVMT Watches, which has now become a popular direct-to-consumer brand with its simplistic designs along with affordable prices. Through effective marketing, particularly on social networks and having a wide and effectively used internet presence, the company become international. Finally, after five years, Kassan got what more than one businessman only bolts to make, he sold HIS company for nine figures.
