Other than China and Pakistan, Bangladesh has also had interactions with the US and European countries. The fact that the European Union placed a defense attache to Dhaka for the first time in December of last year is worthy of note.

It has also reached out to other countries including Italy, Turkey, France and Sweden in relation to meeting its demand. The Tribune has reported, citing analysis from Indian Jarvis security agencies, that the current head of Dhaka interim government; Yunus, is shifting the policies in regards to defense and alliances in the nation.
