“Bijwasan Constituency Election Result LIVE Update”: The counting for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 will start on February 8, 2025, promptly at 8 AM. Delhi has an exclusive high profile elections with ex Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal contesting from AAP, BJP’s Parvesh Verma, and Congress’s Sandeep DiDSik, the son of former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. These elections are high stake elections for AAP, BJP and Congress, as the AAP is seeking to retain its power for the third consecutive term while the BJP is looking to regain power after nearly 27 years. In the 2015 and 2020 elections, Congress, which ruled the state for 15 years, has struggled to win even a single seat.

The party is optimistic with their campaign strategies this year. AAP, which comprises more than 60 members in the 70 member assembly, appeals for re-election based on the accomplishments it has during the last term. Vote counting will happen today, February 8.

Bijwasan is one of the 70 constituencies in the Delhi Legislative Assembly. In the 2020 elections, Bhupinder Singh Joon of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the seat with 57,271 votes. His closest rival, Sat Prakash Rana from Baiatiya Janata Party (BJP), received 56,518 votes, while Praveen Rana of Congress had 5,937 votes.
